Captureone and DSC RX100

Just bought myfirstSony camera (DSC RX100) delighted with the camera but disappointed with the software. I've been a loyal Canon fan for many years but my Canon software's not happy with Sony files.

I've downloaded a free trial verson of Captureone Express; I've imported images but can't do anything with them!  Do I have to activate the free download in someway?  I've been on the Captureone help page but it needs to have a product key details which I haven't got as it's a free download!

Is there anyway I can try Captureone before buying it?

Hi Tynwain,

You don't have to activate Capture One Express and it is indeed free!

What do you mean when you say "you can't do anything with them?".  Are the sliders inoperative?

@dgrover1500 and @Tynwain Welcome to the Community

dgrover1500 is correct that capture one express is free.

If you could share a little more info that would be great.

Thanks Jumpy!

My first thought is that he perhaps has started Capture One in DB mode... which is for Phase One cameras only.
