&lt;P&gt;I dont know what model TV you have, but I have noticed that HDR can look dark in may situation - but I guess this is overcome on high-end models where the brightness of the TV (nits) is higher than on mid-range and budget HDR models, as well as things like full array local dimming etc on high end models.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I have a 4K HDR Sony TV And Xbox One S, I played Salt Movie with Angelina Jolie which is 4K HDR. As soon as the blu ray loads it goes into HDR Mode and the screen is very dark ???&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is that how its suppose to be ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;also tried deus ex mankind divided which now has hdr support same thing dark screen image and in normal game mode the picture ???&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any thoughts ? is hdr all about dark images to be honest i dont see any difference just darker image ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
