Having a comparision of them both, the main differences are:

KDL-48WD650

KDL-48W705C

Thats probably it I think - other than minor differences such as weight...

i think 650 use direct led and 705 edge led

i think with direct led u have better image right?

You are correct - I missed this in my comparision. The WD650 is Direct LED backlit, where-as the W705C is Edge.

There are pros and cons with both types, see the couple of links below, as I think it explain it well.
