KD-55X8509C YouTube issue.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

My KD-55X8509C is really struggling to stream 4k YouTube videos (sometimes 1440p too) its stuttering and buffereing most of the time. I have 76Mbps internet, so plenty fast enough for 4k and the TV has no issues with 4k Netflix. I can also stream 4k videos on my PC with no issues, so I know its not my internet connection. Only thing I can think of is that its a problem with the YouTube app.

Anyone come across this issue ?

Hi there

I have a KD-55XD8577 and have tested YouTube and can stream 4K content no problems. Even though my fibre connection is 'upto' 76Mbps, it doesnt mean I get that. According to my router, I am synced at (65Mbps down) - and going to speedtest.net I get about 61Mbps download speed. Suggest you going to speedtest.net and see what your actual download speed it.

Also, is your TV connected to your router via Wifi or an ethernet cable? If using Wifi, I would suggest a 'wired' connection (even as a test) to rule out or confirm a wireless issue.
