KD-65X8509C - TV not coming on

After an update was done on my TV on 9 November 2016, it wouldn't come on and now its switching itself on and off with a black screen or black screen with sony on it. Sound is coming on but no picture. I've had a fading white LED light and the red blinking 8 times but doing a power re-set does not work and cant get screen on to do a factory re-set. Tried the whole lot of router switced off, everything disconnected and still not coming on. Can anyone help please? Any advice would be appreciated.
