Hi there

First thing to do is to unplug all connecting cables - HDMI, aerial etc. Does the TV switch on with just the power cable connected?

If not - is the TV plugged into a surge protector or multi-gang power plug? If so, connect the power directly to the wall and test?

If all is dead - then you will need to have it repaired, see:

http://services.sony.co.uk/support/en/repair/asc

Cheers

It does appear that a 5yr warranty is essential in this day and age !
