Sony Bravia XD8088 Internal Storage access

can someone please confirm if pictures (jpg format) can be saved to the TV's on board storage and if jpg files in USB storage can be accessed without having to format and lock it to the TV?

I want to configure a Kodi skin with my own background images but I'm not sure how to get my images on to the TV or if thats even possible..?

You can do both. But keep in mind that external storage sometimes gets remounted in a different path so kodi won't see it.

I read (or misread) elswhere that connecting USB to the TV causes it to be reformatted which will wipe anything stored in it which means I lose all the backgounds I want to use with Kodi, came here looking to clear up that confusion so thank you very much for that.
