Clear Audio + Setting with Denon AV Amplifier issue help needed

Hi guys I have a Sony KD-43X8307C 2015 model and it's connected to my Denon X4100W AV Amplifier.

Was around £1300 when new. Iv got the TV connected to the amp via HDMI ARC.

The question is as my Denon is handerling all the sound and possessing via HDMI ARC function do I need the TV's Clear Audio + enabled??? .

By default it's switched on.. Do I leave it on of is it better to switch it of

All help would be greatfully appreciated.

Hi not sure to be honest I think it's for the internal TV speakers only.

But I have switched it off anyway.

They realy should alter the software so when a TV is plugged and detects a HDMI ARC connection or any external audio connection it should disable clear Audio + Setting.. That would be the logical thing to do

But this is Sony!!! Lol
