I have a hearing problem so I was looking at getting the Sony MDR1000X headphone.

Questions is can they be linlked to the Sony 4K HDR Smart LED TV Bravia KD55XE9005 which I also want to purchase, so my family can listen to the TV at a normal volume and I can put the haedphones on and control the volume from them so not affecting the normal TV volume?

An answer would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi there

As these are bluetooth headphones, please see the point 2 in the FAQ HERE.

In regards to listening to the TV from the speakers and headphones at the same time, see HERE.

However thus far, I have not heard of anyone testing a bluetooth transmitter with TV speakers and headphones at the same time. I personally cannot see why it wouldnt work - however as I dont know, I cannot offer guarantees.

You could test it out if you choose to go down that route, but best ensure you can get a refund (just in case). If you decide to do it, please post back with the results - as I would be interested to know and would help others too.

Cheers
