Enchanced HDMI mode

Good afternoon

I have recently purchased a KD49XD8305BU and have a PS4 pro connected and a Youview Ultra Hd box.

i have for the youview box in HDMI1 and PS4 pro in HDMI2.

Whilst looking through the settings i found an option for standard or enchanced mode for displaying high quality hdmi on HDMI2 and 3.

- what does this enhances mode do?

- am i best off connecting my youview box to HDMI3 and putting on enhances mode?

Hi @TomVjestica

Sorry in the delay in replying. For the PS4 Pro, set the HDMI to 'Enhanced' mode. This will enable HDR to be passed to the TV for any games that supports this.

In regards to the YouView Ultra HD box - I am unsure on the exact tech specs of it, but it might also need Enhanced HDMI enabling too.
