Bugs after last update (through USB) on KD-49XD7005

Good morning everyone.

I have update to latest firmware update (USB) for my tv KD-49XD7005,

After that the remote control does not work properly also previous working ,"JUMP" button

do not work anymore.

Also on twitter function ,i cannot edit my prefered "key word".

If i press "TV" button it returns to the channel which its "keywords" are in

twitter and not the one i am viewing at the present time.

I do not know ,if all the above will be fixed with a factory reset.

I will try and let you know.

Hi,

I've checked your issue on my XD80 running also the latest firmware and everything is working fine.

It took some second after starting the TV but then everything went OK.

Crossing fingers that the factory reset will fix your issues.

Dear Peter,

thank you for your prompt replay.

After factory reset .......the same thing.

Previous software better , maybe there is no option of PIP function ,but is stable.

I do not know if i can do a downgrade to previous software.

Dear all,

after all i tried , i said to my self ,why do not make a light reset.

So i did ,pressing ,for about 5'' the stby on/off button from the remote control.

The tv powers off and then on by its self . After that for my surprise everything is working even

the jump button.

The problem with twitter solved by turning off and on the wi-fi coonection and re-entering the wi-fi password again.

After that the the words given in the list change in auto mode , still i can not edit my prefered word.

So i solved my problem.

Now i want from Sony ,to find something so we all have the Timeshift option along with the use of HDD.

Cheaper TV's has it.
