KD-55XD9305, YouView, Cable not working

I am trying to tune the above television for YouView using Cable which I assume means that its going via my internet? I dont have an aerial attached. Tried searching around but all older posts and nothing too clear

To get YouView to work (for 4OD etc) do I really have to attach an aerial?

Hi there

In order to use YouView you need to connect an aerial cable that received 'Freeview' transmissions. ITVHub and All4 will not be enabled until at least 1 channel is tuned in. After that you can remove the aerial cable and ITVHub and All4 should still work.

Cable is actually a fourth thing, neither OTA, internet nor satellite. But it's pretty much an American thing.
