Amazon app has been a major pain on all Sony Android TV devices since 2015.

I tested it the other day. Even on PS3 (256MB of RAM available) is much less laggy than on these TVs. It took ages going to 1080p, though. On Android the Amazon Video app can use up to 320MB of RAM (more than the whole PS3's RAM). It clearly needs to be optimezed!

Yes. I do not get sound on my headphones (optical connection on ZD9). Phoned Amazon who say to update the app, but cannot see any way of doing that as the App does not show up in Google Play Store.
