Hi everyone

I'm trying to decide between the 2 49' 4K TV's above but can't get a clear answer on what the main differences are?

From what I can see the 8 is the better specced model and has voice control with Alexa and would be the better option for usability, image quatliy seems to be comprable.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi @firthy76. One major difference is the XE7 is a Linux TV and the XE8 is an Android TV. It is probably best to go to the Sony product website and compare. You really need the XE8x the 8x or 7x as they differ depending on the x. Note it may be worth waiting for the 2018 models XF7 and XF8.

Edit: Don’t go for a XE7 if you have Sky Q. There is a problem with the Info banner and you can only turn it off on the XE8.

Great advice about SkyQ, I do have it so guess I’d need the XE80 rather than the XE70?
