USB Movies Aspect Ratio Issue

Hi guys,

New to Sony TV's and can't seem to fix this issue.

I have a load of TV shows and Movies on a USB stick.

When I watch the TV shows, the aspect ratio automatically matches the ratio it was filmed in and looks great but when I watch movies, the aspect ratio changes and stretches vertically making the picture look off.

I went through the settings > display route but couldn't change any options for the USB.

Any help on this would be appreciated. My TV is the Sony Bravia KD65X85 LED HDR 4K 65"

The workaround seems to work fine but it's a pain when it really shouldn't be.
