sony bravia 55fx9005 spinning symbols not booting

My sony bravia 55fx9005 is just displaying spinning symbols. it wont boot up. remote wont function cant do anything. how do i fix this?

If the TV won't boot, have you been able to try a soft reset by using the power button on the remote?

If not you could also try:

1. Turning off the TV.
2. Unplug the television power cord
3. Let the television remain without power for 2 minutes.
4. Plug the power cord (mains lead) back into the electrical outlet.
