Hello all.

I've had my TV for a good few years now.

Only recently discovered I'm unable to stream anything onto to the tv now.

For example YouTube works through TV but will not cast through Samsung android tablet or Samsung android phone.

Comes up (there was a problem connecting to kd-49x8309c)

You tube cam be casted on my sky Q box no problem so i know my Wi-Fi is working fine.

Restarted Tv

Checked wireless connections.

Router is double checked and reset.

Possible update may have caused this.

Is there anything else i could try other than a complete factory reset.

try rebooting the tv (by long pressing the power button if it is not what you did) or to clear the cache of the google cast receiver app.

Thank you very much.

Cleared the chrome cast and cache and restarted the tv.

Worked a treat.

Unable to cast from my phone to AG9 TV

I cleared the cache in the apps folder called Chromecast Android shell & everything was back to normal...strange but true...result.
