Hi. I am an owner of sony KDL43W808C.
Today I bought an external HDD "Verbatim TV Hard Drive Rec & Play" 1TB formatted NTFS.
The reason is because I want to see movies which I downloaded to my pc, in my TV. Now my questions are the following.

1.I can't create any folder from my usingtv apps like es explorer or x-plore. I haven't the permission! How can I fix that.
2.Can I use my external HDD for both recording TV and watching movies as usb?

It's possible you haven't registered the drive yet, or there is some problem with registration. This Support article guides you through the process.

I try to register the drive but again I can't write on it and also it shows that its capacity is 256gb and not 1tb.

Could someone plz tell me the correct file system to format my disk. I just want to see some movies which transferred to my HDD. And also I want to be able to insert or delete some of them using my android TV and my Windows pc too. Thank you.
