I have a Sony KD55AG8BU TV, is it possible to watch films in Full screen mode over any platform?

Currently I can only view films in full screen on Amazon Prime, I also have Sky, Netflix and Disney + but these all default to Letterbox mode.

Note that this presumes a wrongly shaped picture is a fault that you want to correct.

Which is perhaps the case; though here it may be more an adjustment that you want to provoke, e.g. making a correctly transmitted and displayed 21:9 picture lose its black bars by stretching the image vertically, or by zooming it to fill the 16:9 screen, cutting off the left and right sides of the picture.

But this does not matter - it is always a case of personal taste how you want your picture to look.
