Power ECO settings

Hi read the posts on TV going off randomly and the Idle setting

My problem is the reverse I want the TV to shut down after 1 hr non interaction

This until recently worked well with a shut down notice appearing before going into standby

Now this setting changes to idle off without interaction from me

I set eco to High and 1hour idle this changes I come out of the menu using back I can go straight back in and the setting is how I left it However after the TV DOES NOT IDLE after 1 hr I check the settings and power saving is off and idle is off

I am the only one here Up until now this has worked well does any one have any suggestions

I have not noticed any other settings change

Which tv are you dealing with and which FW release are you on?

Extra info TV is a 65” A1 has Android security patch 1/9/19 version 8.0.0

software is up to date

i have undertaken a soft reset but not a hard reset ( as I have several setting I do not want to re enter again

You can fid the actual fw release info by pressing the HELP remote menu button. In any case you are not on the latest that can be found here https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/oled-tvs-android-a1-series/kd-65a1/downloads/00016668
