KD-XH95 49" picture quality

Just got this TV and the picture quality isn't great, messed with the setting and still can't get it to look crisp and clear.

Really considering taking it back to the shop.

Any ideas I what could be wrong please.

This is a 4K TV; what did you have before?

Looking at SD TV channels, it has to invent 15 out of every 16 pixels you see, so not ideal; and even on HD, it has to invent 3 out of 4, though HD should be pretty acceptable.

But before getting the shop involved, give it some real 4K material, from Netflix or Amazon Video If you have the requisite subscription, or from YouTube certainly.

If you still think you have a wrong ‘un - and it does happen - the shop will take a lot more notice if you can demonstrate problems even on UHD material.
