KD-49XH8196 Issue..

Hi chaps! I bought a KD-49XH8196 last week and I’m really pleased with it on the whole.

However, I have one annoying issue with it.. Now and again the power button on the remote will not respond on maybe the first, second or third press. So it takes a bit of fiddling about to either switch on from standby or switch off. Not every time though! Seems to be working correctly from button on tv.

I’ve tried trouble shooting steps and the tv is telling me that I have the latest software. Do you think it could be a bit of a bug or software related somehow with android or should I return the tv?

Try changing the batteries on the remote, even if new they may be not fully charged anymore

How bizarre! Put new batteries in, make sure I point in general direction of tv (I thought Bluetooth wasn’t so fussy with the pointing lol) no misfires since. Thank you!
