KD-55XH9505 Bravia TV; connect TV to internet provider cable box via wifi

I am new to smart tv and just purchased above. during setup i connected to my WPS secure wifi network via my internet provider.

I am connected to my WPS wifi and this works fine for accessing netflix, Prime etc.

However, had to connect my TV box via HDMI cable to see the tv service provided by SFR on the tv via my cable TV box.

how do i reconfigure settings so as i do not need the HDMI cable connection to TV from my SFR box to see my TV services via my box?

I have surfed the internet but all says is connecting to wfi; this is done already.

can anybody help please?
