Sony 55X9005CBU - Stuttery Video

Youtube video has a stutter or jerk every few seconds of playback no matter what the quality is that I'm playing the video back at. Tested from 720p all the way to 4k but same problem!

Also streaming video from the dedicated Plex app is the same!

Any way of fixing this issue??

So how to help you? Can you confirm if you are using wifi or a lan cable to connect the tv to your router?

I'm using a LAN ethernet connection going into a gigabit router with a 50MB Virgin fibre line. I've tested using WiFi and LAN and both the same. Ruled out low bandwidth causing this by trying to playback at 720p and lower but same problem.

The stutter or judder is every 30 seconds or so and easily noticeable.

With the upcoming FW update, hopefully this may resolve itself.

Any ETA on when this FW update might be coming?

Have Sony set a date for the FW update yet??

Just to update on this, it's now fixed possibly with an update as playback is much smoother and nicer even 4k stuff.
