Hello,

I compared KD55X8509C with KD55X8505C and to my surprise found that the 8505 is a little newer and has a better spec. ie 10-bit addressing and SMB

Is this true? Or is it just a web site error?

Not at the moment, but Sony have Triluminos Display with 10-bit processing for a wider color gamut.
