2015 Android TV. BBC iPlayer bust

does anything work on this darn TV?

just opened iPlayer. It says 'opening application' then nothing. Blank page.

I go to settings/apps to try and close the app and BBC iPlayer is nowhere to be seen.

Any ideas?

Are you still having this issue after the update? My iPlayer is working fine
