KDL-43W807C Action Menu doesn't stay on

when I press the "Action Menu" button on the remote to bring up the settings, it only stays on for a few seconds before disappearing again. I have tried a reset of the TV but it hasn't helped. Any ideas?

This is happening when I go in to the SETTINGS menu via the HOME button also.

Not sure if you have fixed this yet but I had the same issue and found it was because I had the Bravia sync switched on, once I had turned that off the action menus behaved themselves.
