Sony KDL-43W805C - major issues, please help!

Hi,

just picked up a 43w805 earlier this week - early impressions were very positive, barring a couple of niggles.

However, the thing has bricked itself today and I don't know what to do.

First sign something was up was that the top banner and the screen setting wouldn't disappear when watching sky. Pressed netflix in the hope this would remove the banner - sky audio continued to play in the background.

Held down power on the remote for 5 seconds to force a restarrt - when the tv turned back on all of the external inputs had disappeared from the home screen and the external input menu won't display.

TV now keeps switching itself off, rebooting, going to home screen (no external inputs), sitting for a couple of minutes then switching off again.

Tried switching off at the wall for a few minutes - doesn't help

Tried going to the erase all data setting - just switches itself off.

Sony support is closed alll weekend and i'm tearing my hair out trying to find a solution.

Please help if you can - i'm desperate!
