Bravia TV, PS4 and Sky Box interoperability...

OK, so I've got my Sony Bravia TV and connected several devices - a Sky Box, Sony blu-ray player and a PS4. Brilliant.

Now, call me lazy if you want, but why is it that when I turn the Sky box on the TV turns on (from stand by) too, but it doesn't when I turn on the PS4 or the blu ray player? Is there only one HDMI port (they're all connected to the TV with an HDMI cable) this function works on?

The TV is a KDL-47W8*

On the devices that it doesnt work, ensure that you have activated 'Bravia Sync' or sometimes called 'Control for HDMI'.

Also ensure your HDMI cables are newish, last couple of years should be fine (HDMI 1.4)

Sorry for the confusion, i cant post properly, without doing a 'dummy' post and then editing it. Im using a Z4 tablet and lost text formatting abilities I didnt think you would reply so soon!!!! LOL
