Sonos Playbar 5.1 on Android TVs

Anyone had any luck getting 5.1 from a Playbar using a new Sony Android TV?

I can't get anything but stereo no matter what I use - Plex, Netflix, etc.

Has anyone got 5.1 working or do we have to wait for an update?

I'm in the same boat - its not yet possible for the tv to pass though dolby digital, there is an update on the 15th June but I'm not sure if this will solve it.

They have stated it will be fixed by an update though

Have you had any trouble with sound distortion? I've noticed now and I can when a big action scene kicks in I get a horrible cracking sound, didn't have this issue with my previous tv, the soundbar worked fine on that, so I'm pointing fingers at the new TV, thanks

I'm waiting for this as well - all my movies and TV are on plex and netflix
