Local dimming fails after using app

Hi,

In addition to the annoying Sky Q juddering issue, I'm also experiencing a problem with the local dimming.

Basically, whenever I use an app such as Youtube or Plex, when I switch back to TV (selecting the Sky input via the menu), most of the time (80-90%), the local dimming fails. I then have to put the set in standby and back on again to clear the problem.

Anyone else getting this?

Model is a 55XD9305

Thanks. It's happening almost all the time now when coming out of the menus. Not sure if it's actually the local dimming feature that's failing but basically areas which should be black are bright grey, so either the local dimming isn't working or the contrast/brightness is all out of whack.

It's seriously annoying as, literally every time I use the menus for anyting (Netflix, Youtube, PLEX etc), I have to turn the TV off and on again before I can watch broadcast TV.
