Problem to update aps on sony L1

Hi. I have a weird problem. Cant update some of my aps. Just says that The app cant be updated. Try again. If the problem still arena there you can get hel with support. - 506

Anyone having a clue whats wrong? The only thing that seems to work are to remove The app and then install it again. But i dont want to do that, losing accounts etc

I have the same problem and it seems that the only solution is to factory-set it, but it's rather frustrating to do it once a month or more often. I hope there will soon be an update that solves the problem.

Which apps are you experiencing the issue with?

Could you post screenshots of the error?

Which version is the app on your phone?

It's all apps, I can not download new apps, but as soon as it's factory-set, it works again. It seems that it's Android 7 there's the problem because there were no issues with Android 5 and 6.

It's not possible with screenshots at the moment because I do not have L1 nearby, but it is reporting error code 506.

I found out why it wasnt working for me. In my case the aps didnt update becouse i had moved them to my SD-card. As soon as I had moved them back to the phone i could update them

I can't update apps that are on my sd card too. Have to move them to internal then back to sd card. Hopefully Sony will fix this

The other work around, although longer in process, is better.

Unmount your SD card. Then install/update the app. Restart your phone. Transfer app to sd card. Done.

Particularly helpful for apps like Amazon music, means you don't lose your downloads

Simply move that app to internal storage and try to update.
