Sounds great, @Steamvarius! Let me know if the software repair works or not.

As i mentioned, if the software repair does not manage to get you past the boot screen, I am afraid that the only thing left to do is to have the phone sent to an authorized service center for examination. In that case, contact your local support team for further instructions and information.

Ok, so here's the situation. I've tried everything, from Safe mode, to restarting the phone several times. I've even attempted a Factory reset, and software repair. My Xperia L1 is not going past the xperia logo anytime soon. Is this the final curtain for my phone?

Hi @Steamvarius, I am sorry to hear about this.

I would primarily suggest that you try removing the SIM card, and then try restarting the phone. If the phone restarts successfully after you remove the SIM card it might be the SIM card that needs to be replaced. Secondly you could also try to remove the SD Card if you have one. If the phone restarts successfully after you remove the SD card, your SD card may be damaged and in need of replacement.

If this does not manage to get you past the booting screen of the phone, I recommend that you get in contact with your local support team in order to have the phone sent in to an authorized service center. If you have any questions regarding the service, such as routines, warranty and consumer laws, these type of questions are best answered by your local support team as well, as they vary between markets.

Let me know how it goes!

I've tried both. I think it's the phone, because both sim and SD cards are undamaged. Should I contact my service provider?

EDIT: Never mind, finally got Xperia Companion to start the repair process. I was doing it wrong. Derrr....
