How do I mount an Xperia L1 to an iMac to copy images?

My son has given me his Xperia L1 to use but he has many images on an sd card that I want to copy to my iMac so that I can transfer them to cd , sd or other medium for him. I have tried to mount the 'phone onto my desktop via usb but seems incompatible. Is there free app to get that will do this please?

Hi @MixPix, and welcome to our community!

In addition to the program @uliwooly mentioned, you can also use our sync program Xperia Companion in order to browse through the files on your phone. From there you should easily be able to copy the files from your phone to your computer.

Thank you. All resolved now. I downloaded Xperia Companion and it worked well.
