Apps wont download

Hi I've a Sony experia l1 and everytime I try to download an app from playstore it's starts to download then just says pending and nothing happens. I've enough storage and an sd card. Any ideas how I can download apps please thanks in advance

I've seen this before and the problem was either

1 slow data or wifi connection

2 not enough free internal storage (not SD card)

Hi thank you.. Must've my internal storage then as WiFi and data are OK. Can I transfer apps onto sd card to free up internal space. Thanks for reply

I'm sorry to tell you this but nope, the SD card its only for media (pictures, videos, music)
