How to transfer photos from XPERIA P to PC

I can not transfer pics taken in my xperia p to pc. The PC companion is installed. Everytime the phone gets connected through USB to the PC shows windows media player as transfer mode. The right side drop down only showing the music (which was transferred from pc to phone) but the IMAGE or the camera apps cymera showing no content.

Can you please post a screen shot of the error meaage? Also please check

Settings - Xperia - Connectivity - USB connection Mode. See what it says.

Quick solution.

Go to start menu on windows> select "computer"

Here you will see the phone listed by name or by SD card/Phone Card.

Double click on it and look for the "DCIM" folder, in it you will find the "100ANDRO" folder.

This is the folder that holds all of your pics and videos.

Copy the folder to Pc and rename the folder.

(If using Pc companion, instead of Media go, select "File transfer" and find the DCIM folder on the list.)

the first time i transfered it was fairly easy and now i have new picture i wana put on my pc and it proving impossible and i need transfere these pics asap

I explored thwe DCIM folder and found the 100ANDRO folder and there are only a handful of pictures there. I really need to get them all off my phone as it is full and I have to keep deleting pics to take more, ( I obviously dont want to have post them all to my facebookso I can then delete them). I really cannot find my photos in these 2 mentioned files!! please help

Francis I have followed these instructuions but it is only allowing me to transfer 1 pic at a time, I keep getting the mesage "not enough space on the disc" I am trying to transfer to a PC. Any advice? Thanks

I was trying to transfer image from my XA Ultra dual to windows 10 os laptop using phone companion but it is showing error. Then I tried to transfer those images using file explorer then also it showed another error but it was doing fine when I closed Xperia Companion

my mobile model is xperia p .now my mobile is vibrating but not showing on the display.vibrating thrice and become dead or off (not known).so i want file sto transfer to my laptop .do the needful .

There is no message it just ignores the phone

I keep saying my phone is a Sony Xperia XZ1 and is new but my computer ignores it when I plug it in.

There is no picture or message, my computer just ignores my phone which is a Sony Xperia XZ1.

i have followed all the instructions on transfering photos form photos on xperia 3 . i found the computer, DCIM file 100ANDRO but no photos. All photos on the photos app are memomorable. is there any other way. ive attempted moving to SD card, but replies "can't move to SD card.
