Sony please get your act together on ITV Hub

The ITV Hub on my Sony Bravia KDL40WE663 has no option to watch live TV.

The ITV Hub on my Samsung smart tv does have a menu option for live TV

This problem has been posted to Sony by over 6 people - probably 30, for over 12 months. There have been no replies from Sony.

I thought that Sony was a premium brand, but it appears from their customer service that they don't want to be.

The whole idea of a smart TV is that you don't need the cost of an aerial to watch TV - seems Sony don't get it?

Hi, i think you actually need the aerial connected to get live TV.

Try to connect it and re-tune then check.

The problem lies with itv and the apps they have created for different TV operating systems.

On some TV OS it has the option for live TV through the hub app, on others it does not. Why they do this I have no idea but it may be worth checking why itv hub app does not support the OS of the Sony TV from this range.

@mtulleysolidcstoreorg, these are two different TVs with two different OS, it doesn't work this way.
