Display - no caller ID, no details during call

Hi all,

my Aino used to show the caller ID/number without the need to slide it open (all I had to do was to lift or move it).

during a callwith teh keypad closed (eg using handsfree) there was call details displayed on the screen.

These two features suddenly disappeared. I tried F/W upgrade and 'fix my phone' option from the SE software.

Still no luck.

Any ideas?

it may be worth adding that the screens remains blank in both situations.

one more thing - can it anything to do with the proximity sensor?

just tried to test it (from service menu) and it says ok - straight away, with or without anything being close to the sensor...like it was on all the time...

i think you my have the call too long, and the screen turn on on the timers
