Where is my Xperia on the E1?

I followed the instructions on the SONYMobile site, to look for it in Settings/Security, but it isn't there and when I try to login, I just go in circles, so I am going to need a bit of guidance here.

If you don't see it then it probably wasn't a pre-installed app so you can try to sideload it - Download it from here and transfer to your phone then via your file manager app install

Since the Store did not help me to install it, my only question now is - will something notify me if it can be updated or do I have to maintain it manually?

[edit] It's taking too long to receive the confirmation e-mail, so I haven't actually been able to actually use myXperia just yet.

I was able to install myXperia, but I can't get it activated. After trying to accept the T&Cs, an e-mail is supposed to be sent to my registered account. It never arrives and, yes, I checked my spam folder, as well.

I tried deactivating myXperia, then activating it again. A new e-mail is supposed to be sent out. It never arrives, either.

So I am stuck again.

Yes, that is the point.

I have a registered account, the phone allows me to send an e-mail, no error occurrs and no e-mail message arrives so that I can confirm my account and start using the service.

Does anyone have a way that I can get myXperia validated?

I keep on trying, but I just don't get the e-mail to do it.

I still cannot get myXperia to work yet.

There are two main reasons why a device is not shown here:"

I downloaded the app onto my phone.

The app is activated on the phone because it says so.

I can log into the myXperia site and it recognises my correct e-mail address because it repeats it back to me.

But when I log into the myXperia site, all I get are excuses and it can't locate my phone.

How does this stuff work if the system can't even find my phone?
