Issues with contacts' sync and "stamina" and "low battery"mode.

Hi dears;

I have 2 problems to mention;

When I create a contact on my phone as "google contact" not the phone contact mode, it will disappear in both my phone and google account after it syncs. why?
When my phone goes in "STAMINA" and "low battery" mode, it will adopt to their settings such as disabling auto-sync, diplay timeout and etc. But when I charge it, I should make all settings back manually. Shouldn't it be enough intelligent to make these settings back automatically?

For the second question: while charging,stamina is automatically disabled.

About the first,have you tried to set the filters correctly in the contacts app?

Thanks for your reply.

I didn't mentioned the "filters". Thanks to mention. It was a useful tool but not the solution. the problem still exists.
I knew that charging disables the Stamina mode, the problem is that settings won't back to originals after disabling the stamina.

Do you have any other devices connected to the Google account you're using in your phone and could you perhaps try adding a 2:nd Google account and see if the same thing happens if you add some contacts to that account?

I recommend that you first create a new account on Google and see if the same thing happens to make sure it's not an issue with the account. You can create another account on www.gmail.com or you can create a new account directly from the phone under Settings -> Add account. You don't need to remove the one you already have, just create another and then try adding some contacts to it.

I have exactly the same problem.

I have multiple google accounts on my xperia.

i have observerved this problem on all my accounts!!!!!

when stamina mode is enabled.

if you add / edit a contact

if you add / edit a calendar event

IT MAY DISAPPEAR !!!!!!

I have not found a solution. SO as far as I am concerned STAMINA is a stupid solution.

if anyone has a solution to this problem i am very happy to hear

Sorry to hear that you have this issue as well.

I've been testing this here but i can't find any issue when synchronizing with my account.

Are you sure this only happens when Stamina is enabled? It seems strange that Stamina could cause this as Stamina is never on while the display is turned on so you can't actually edit or add anything in the phone while Stamina is running. When you turn off the display the phone will also wait 15 min. before enabling Stamina.

Are you able to restore the missing contact(s) from a computer and https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#contacts -> More -> Restore contacts?
