Xperia Z2 repair delayed

I had given my Xperia Z2 for repairs at the service center(job no. W115012002438). I am staying in Chennai, India and my phone had falled off my table and there was a crack on the screen, so I had given the phone to get the touch screen replaced, display was working fine then.

I had given my phone on Jan 20,2015 and till date, I get no calls or no update regarding it from the service center. Rather I haveto call them every day and they keep saying the fone parts are to be ordered from Sweden so its getting delayed.

This has become so frustrating, added to the fact that I gave a complaint by calling on the toll free sony number, which again resulted in no reply and also mailed at servicehead@ap.sony.com, with no reply from them what so ever.

I am at my wits end, sometimes it feels like I wont be getting my phone back ever. How can they take a month to replace a scree, is beyond my scope of thinking. I really have no idea what to do now.

Thank You for your reply, and I have contacted on the suport number of India, about 4-5 times, no responce from them, they always ask me to contact the service center, and the service center tells me it will take more time, parts are coming from Sweden, just too hilarious reasons. Never imagined sony would have such service.

I do not understand how will that help. Since I am from and in India, and I have given my phone for repain in India, if I contact Sony Sweden, wouldn't they ask me to contact Sony India?

oh, okay. That sounds like a nice idea. Thank You So much!.

But I was wondering if anyone else has faced something like this, I mean is it okay for them to take this long to replair a phone?

They finally said they have fixed and asked me to collect, but the repair charges they said, for changing the screen is a whopping INR 16000, which is 231 Euroes or258 USD! Isnt it a bit too much?
