Issue with SMS and Call Log

Hi,

I am using Sony Experia Z2, Model D6503 which I bough in Saudi Arabia. Currently using the same in India at Bangalore.

I am facing issue while using the SMS facility.

- SMS are not frequently getting delivered, though I reply for the one received.

- After adding the recipient name in the msg, it shows no recipient included and cannot proceed further.

The other issue facing is on the Call Log or while searching for a contact.

- while trying to make a call by key in the name in the log list, the names will not get listed and page becomes blank.

- The same while using the contacts page, searching gets hanged and the page goes blank.

If there is a solution for the same, please share it across so that this could be resolved.

are you using a third party messaging app?

Boot on safe mode and check if you experience the same issues, if you do you could repair your phone with PCC

I am not using any third party sms app. it is the default one.

I tried in the safe mode, it is the same. the message is not responding and getting hanged. The contact list is not taking the sender details.

Now let me try to rectify the same using the PCC.

if required any support will pen down.

If PCC doesn't work then you will have to contact your local Xperia Care
