X10 User - Can I SYNC Microsoft Outlook Contacts

Hi all.

Just received my Xperia X10i today. Is it possible to sync my Microsoft Outlook Contacts, calendar etc?

If so, HOW.

Short answer is an astonishing NO !

I have wasted hours looking for a solution, there isn't one. PC suite for android doesn't sync outlook.

However, you can sync outlook to your gmail account (search google for how) and then sync the x10 to the gmail.

The Moxier stuff i have loaded for free can't sync because no "exchange server" (how many home users use exhange !!!)

I found different sets of instructions which made it more confusing.

But again - it actually can - again through gmail, but no one tells you that either.

Now I am not sure which of the two actually did sync my contacts - but one of them did.

It was either google help or moxier help that had the correct instructions - but one of them was also incorrect.

Can't help much more.

Oh, and if you do get the sync working - switch it to manual! otherwise your battery will drain in 2 hours and be hotter than a hand -warmer.

Have you tried "Roadsync"? it works whit Andriod and the X10 family

Keep in mind! It dosnt sync the built in (Mail,calender,contacs in the phone firm)

Its an seperat app
