XZ3 screen grainy OLED issue

Hi!

I think I have problem with my screen, it's grainy and around black character I can notice pixels with higher brightness. Neither OnePlus or Samsung that I have tried has this issue. It is very hard to take a good picture to show this effect.

So I wonder how many of you have this grainy issue with your phone? It's like a paper-ish texture on the screen, most visible on lower screen brightness.

I have made some research and found more people with the same issue.

I'm the user that made one of those threads.

Sadly the graininess is a common manifacturing issue of LG display's oled.

There's nothing you can do about it and there are hundreds of reports online regarding every single model that uses their OLED (g flex, v30, pixel 2xl, pixel 3 and now xz3 - for every one of these model you'll be sure to find graininess reports online).

The worst thing about this story is that if you send the phone back for warranty they often don't recognize the issue, leaving a refund the only option.

I've had two units of the XZ3 myself. Both had it. Nothing to do about it. So much for the phone with "the best display ever".
