Hi! Suddenly, my xz2 compact, reboots and loops after the XPERIA logo.

Does anyone know how to revolve this issue ?

At least how I can save my pictures and my sms?

Hi there,

my XZ2 (not compact) suffers from the same error. It seems to be related to the last Google Play system update. I tried to switch the phone off by pressing Power + Volume Up long (wait for 3 vibrations). But in the end, I had to reset it via Xperia Companion - fortunately, most of my date and photos were in backup...

But it is annoying, as this error keeps coming back every time the phone is switched off and on. I have also started another thread in this forum, no solution yet...

Yes, I heard that this is because of the last Google Play system update.

Try to enable the device on safe mode and check if it will work. Once you see the Sony logo,press and hold on the volume down button until the device starts.

If that didn't work, then software repair is the last option I guess.
