Hello, X Compact enthusiasts. If I have get T-Mobile (US) hotspot/Wi-Fi sharing on my data plan is the X Compact compatible with the T-Mobile sharing?

I think you should ask about that T-Mobile, coz this is T-Mobile service About T-Mobile i found here

Welcome to the community.

The Xperia X Compact does indeed support mobile hotspot/wifi tethering by default, but for questions specific to T-Mobile you will need to contact them.

Thank you. I'm hoping someone has actually used it and can confirm that at least it works for them. It can be difficult getting reliable information from T-Mobile on phones that they do not officially support. Knowing that people are actually using it would give some peace of mind.
