Phone does not reboot after update 10.1.1.A.1.253 (stuck after Sony logo)

My phone is currently stuck after the 10.1.1.A.1.253 update.

I am seeing a screen with "white triangle, with spanner and screwdriver" and have no idea how to get past it. Phone does not reboot even with a hard reset.

Anyone else facing this issue? Any solution to this?

I am at the stage where I am supposed to turn off the phone and plug in the usb cable while holding down the volume button.

Problem is, I can't shut down my phone!

Any ideas?

press and hold power & volume up for few seconds, the phone will turn off

Got it to detect the phone now. Gonna factory reset. :smileygrin:
