Which phone to buy Xperia z or s4 ?

I was using a xperia p . I was quite satisfied.Now i am planning to buy a high-end mobile.i am confused between Xperia z and S4.

the S4 has certain advantages over the Z, it has Android 4.2 (instead of 4.1.2), a newer CPU, I could say go for the Z but others will say otherwise, my advice is this, go to the store and play with both of them, test the camera, the UI, how it feels, games, viewing angles etc

@nolramlb if the rumors are true Sony finally listen and will use carbon fiber, I've been suggesting that for years, as well as bigger camera sensors

If you want fantastic looking well built phone, go for Sony. Samsungs plastic approach to their phones does not look that great, and both S3 & S4 feel very flimsy and fragile.

S4 has advantages, but advantages it gives you, processor for example will not affect the way you use your phone, unless you are hell bent on running benchmarks and scoring high points, in real life usage, at least for now there are none as no app or android version can take advantage of so many cpu cores in S4.

S4 better spec on paper, yes, but irrelevant for day to day use.

I've compared all 3 flagship phones Z, HTC1 and S4

Sony = good build, laggy, great camera, washed out screen

S4 = Plastic fantastic, smooth, good camera, yellowish saturated screen

HTC = excellent build, smooth, low end camera, awesome screen

I need a good phone with a great camera, and the Z does that - except for the fact that it starts slow. Other than that, it takes great pics outdoors and low light..

Hopefully Sony takes care of this flagship phone and does the right thing with updates..

The S4 is like a plastic child's toy, and 9GB of internal memory is used by Samsung bloatware. The TouchWiz OS is disgusting too.

The Z is simple, of a better build quality, and has style.

But the general consensus is that you should buy the HTC One. It has the best performance, design and features of all three.

Or, like others have said, you could wait for either of these phones, particularly the 'Honami';

Thanks alot guyz.I took a look at both the mobiles . S4 is good nd smooth . But Xperia z impressed me.The lOok,camera,and the improved UI took me away from S4.But i am worried about the low volume and the heat production.

Yeah . ! what about the Low Speaker volume.! Is it too low to hear.!? Is there going to be any price cut ( INDIA) >.?

if u consider low volume...guess wat s4 has lower volume especially with headphone

z better and clearer in sound

and htc one are strongesst in sound speaker

I am talking about the speaker volume.Ppl saw that they could'nt hear their ringtone when they out in tragffic or noisy area..? is it true..?
