Party connect speakers to android phones

We have just purchased three speakers, and are trying to use "party connect".

And are having trouble connecting them, playing music, swapping from one phone to another .... just not working!!

When we do EVENTUALLY get them to work, we don't know how we've managed it & then switching from one of our phones to the other, we have to start all over again.

The bluetooth disconnects randomly, all in all, just not working.

Can someone techi give us the instructions in plain English please.

@RosieJ What are the speakers' models do you have? I guess you must make sure they are running the latest firmware, and you can do reset for them. I found this it might help: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/MC000013
