topic Music Player Apps in Portable Audio

Hi there

I would like to ask if anyone can recommend an alternative music player app to the one that comes with the Sony NW-A306 music player that I have. I find this app along with Sony's Music Center for PC just plain boring and very limiting on what you can do with it.

Before this, I always used Apple ipods along with iTunes which you could do so much more with and had better features like being able to crossfade tracks, which is something I would like to do again with a different app that is compatible with the Sony NW-A306. I would also need it to be able to play 24bit high res files, flac, m4a, mp3.

Could anyone suggest such an app that is more like Apple's old ipods and a music center for the PC that is similar to iTunes.

Thanks

Jo
